A teenager who hit and killed a woman while riding a racing bicycle told police that she had ignored warnings not to get in his way, a court was told. Charlie Alliston, now 20, was riding his fixed-wheel track bike without a front brake, horn or bell when he ran into Kim Briggs, 44, as she crossed Old Street in east London on February 12 last year. She suffered brain injuries and died in hospital a week later.
